“ZERO PIGMENTS” portrays the vulnerability and strength of people with albinism in Africa. Central to the piece is a figure who, despite their innocence and humanity, is confronted with fear, superstition, and systematic dehumanization. A doctor and a witch on a broomstick represent the tension between care and deception: they symbolize both the real threat of exploitation and the myths that lead to discrimination, abuse, and deadly violence. The artwork confronts the viewer with this painful reality and calls for recognition, protection, and respect for people with albinism.
