In The Sustainable Development of Production vs Consumption, the painful interplay between humans, nature, and industry is made visible. An oil-covered bird sits helplessly in murky, polluted water, while a rusty pipe continues to pour a stream of black industrial sludge. On the opposite side stands a figure fishing, ready to catch a fish affected by the same pollution—a direct reflection of our own consumption habits. Between the elements are confronting texts, including WE EAT OUR OWN MESS, emphasizing that the damage we cause inevitably comes back to us. The work serves as a critical mirror of our collective behavior and a call to responsibility.
