New work, studio updates, and everything in between.
In FRAME ME, a giraffe quite literally breaks out of the frame β with part of it still hanging around its neck. The text βTHEY HAVE TRIED TO FRAME ME, I DID NOT FIT.β expresses a refusal to be boxed in.
The work reflects on a time when people are increasingly labeled β or seek labels themselves β based on sexuality, religion, or background. FRAME ME poses a simple but powerful question: who defines the frame, and why should we fit into it?
