Live Painting brings the creative process out of the studio and into the presence of an audience. Frank Willems creates artworks during events, exhibitions, collaborations and special occasions, allowing viewers to experience the development of an artwork from beginning to end.
Each live painting is influenced by its surroundings, the atmosphere of the event and the moment in which it is created. Rather than following a fixed process, the artwork develops organically through colour, movement, ideas and spontaneous decisions.
The result is both an original artwork and a live artistic experience, connecting the process of making with the people watching it happen.
