TROUBLES IN BLUE PARADISE is a series of paintings that captures the breathtaking yet mysterious underwater world. Neon-colored corals shimmer like a vibrant maze. Above this colorful chaos, the most beautiful yet dangerous sea creatures float, fascinating and unpredictable.

At the top of the artwork, a swimmer appears to emerge from the piece. He suffers from thalassophobia – the fear of deep waters – and is convinced that the greatest dangers lie beneath him. But is this threat reality or merely a thought?

This series of paintings celebrates the hypnotic beauty of coral reefs and their inhabitants, while also exploring the fine line between fear and reality. And… have you spotted the hidden clownfish in the coral?
