LE COQ ROUGE – Mural

A collaborative mural artwork by Rogier Roeters and Frank Willems for De Rooie Haen in Den Bosch. The piece, LE COQ ROUGE, shows a rooster depicted in expressive lines and raw energy. The rooster has a provocative, bright red dick that plays with the boundaries between humour, absurdity, and body language. From its beak comes the playful text “KUKE LE COQ”, giving the work a mix of wordplay, boldness, and street-art attitude. The result is a confrontation between the everyday and the grotesque, turning the wall into an absurdist statement that both disrupts and entertains.
