“HAVE YOU SEEN MY IVORY?” confronts the viewer with the harsh reality of poaching and violence against elephants. The artwork depicts an elephant whose tusk transforms into a shotgun, from which a little heart flows—a powerful symbol of vulnerability and loss. At the bottom stands a person with an ivory nose, reflecting human involvement. Surrounded by the text “HAVE YOU SEEN MY IVORY?” and subtle messages like “ALL WE GET KILLED WILL COME BACK” and “UNNECESSARY,” this piece invites reflection on greed, empathy, and the destructive impact of our actions on nature.
