In these works you see the backside of an elephant. By sticking googly eyes on it, that backside once again becomes an elephant’s face. The text “YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE LOOKING AT MY FACE. I’VE GOT EYES ON MY ASS” can be taken literally, but can also be read independently of the elephant.
