CUT YOUR LEGS OFF was created during my residency at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, after a photoshoot with Herman van Heusden. At 192 cm tall, working with perspective was a challenge. The title comes from Kendrick Lamar’s song CUT YOUR LEGS OFF and plays with ideas of height, presence, and perspective. The work is playful, slightly provocative, and invites viewers to think about how body and image interact.
