CORIANDER depicts a set table with two plates, cutlery, salt and pepper, a small soup, salad, and, of course… coriander. A little pot of soapy water sits beside it, a visual joke about what coriander does to my taste buds. The work can be hung in two different ways, shifting how it’s experienced and interpreted. A personal, humorous yet confrontational reflection on an intense dislike for a herb that many love—but for me, completely alters everything.
