CAPTURE BEFORE YOU MISS YOUR CHANCE explores the tension between desire and reality. The series shows the back of a camera; in the lens appear figures and places that spark our imagination: Nessie in Loch Ness, Bigfoot in the North American mountains, the Yeti in the Himalayas, a Martian on Mars, and a UFO over Roswell. The lens is focused, but when the button is pressed, the message appears: YOU MISS YOUR CHANCE. An ode to mythical beings and our urge to capture the unattainable, asking: do they really exist, or only in our imagination?

Oh no! I do my best to pack everything safely, but if your order arrives damaged, please let me know within 48 hours. Just send a photo and short description via email so we can sort it out together quickly. I want you to be happy with what you receive.

Changed your mind? No problem. You have 14 days to return your order after delivery. Just send me an email at shop@frank-willems.com, and I’ll make sure your refund is processed within 14 days.

Just a heads-up: the item must be in its original condition, and shipping costs are non-refundable.
