For the Bouwmaat XXL Festival, I realized, on behalf of SPS and Zinsser, five large barrels as standing tables, painted in three variations. The first variation shows a bull with bull’s eye eyes, an ear tag with 1, 2, 3, and a yellow area with “BULL'S EYE” as a reference to Zinsser Bulls Eye Primer. The second variation depicts a painter on a small ladder, rolling paint, with the words “EASY, PERFECT, SMOOTH,” referring to SPS wall paints. The third variation combines both images, where the two styles meet.
