The elephant’s eyes are recessed into the material, creating a mesmerizing effect. From every angle, the elephant’s gaze seems to follow you, resulting in an almost inescapable confrontation with the artwork. This enhances the meaning of the expression “elephant in the room”—an obvious and prominent subject that is often ignored or left unspoken. By combining humor and provocation, the series succeeds in offering both levity and depth.
